Benbecula...Where?

Chris Davidson lives and works on the Island of Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides so you can imagine his surprise when, a few days after he received his order from us he got a phone call asking if he would like to meet up with our customer service rep. 

Chris is more than 600 miles from our shop and the last thing he expected was a personal visit. He just couldn't believe it.

   The customer service rep was actually Terry Turner, our photographer.  

Terry happened to be travelling to the Outer Hebrides, to photograph wildlife, the day after Chris made his order,and we thought it would be a great laugh if Terry could deliver it personally. When we realised that our delivery service was faster than that, we hit on the idea of playing this joke on Chris anyway. 

  Chris not only met up with Terry but took the opportunity to get some practice in with his Cirrus Pro 4m and HQ chicken loop.

 There is no shortage of wind of on Benbecula and on this occasion there was no shortage of rain either.

  Nevertheless, Chris and his mate Niall Doe, who has a North Rhino inflatable, did some training runs and that’s how we got the pics. Eventually they got “soaked off”  and gave up but it was a great session and a real laugh for all of us.
